• Assist in preparing tax returns for private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, and possibly some non-residents, non-domiciled individuals, trusts, and estates.
• Provide high-quality tax advice to clients, supporting the Partner and Director team.
• Collate and maintain client information and prepare data for tax advisory projects.
• Communicate with clients regarding their tax issues and liabilities, referring unresolved issues to the appropriate Manager.
• Produce work for Manager review, highlighting technical or client-specific issues and recommending solutions.
• Adhere to tax procedures and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate recording of hours and meeting budgets.
• Become proficient in using various software, including Excel, Word, and tax packages.
• ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience.
• Ideally, you have experience in international tax return preparation, but this is not essential. Trust experience would also be useful, though not essential.
• Proficient in using tax software and computer-based tax compilation programs, as well as MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to liaise with clients and colleagues across departments to achieve effective outcomes.
• Capable of working independently, managing workloads, and meeting deadlines.
