What you'll be doing day to day

You'll work with a diverse client portfolio of commercial businesses up to £300m turnover from owner-managed businesses to listed entities and other corporate clients.

  • Plan and complete statutory audits of corporate clients, both on-site and in the office
  • Lead the audit team on-site and ensure all audit procedures are followed
  • Supervise and support the work of junior team members
  • Real contact time with developing relationships and liaising with people on the client side, including non-accounts employees
  • Produce work for Manager and/or Partner review
  • Highlight technical or client-specific issues and provide possible solutions where required

About you

Your clear communication and strong rapport building skills will be crucial for team-working and delivering excellent client service.

  • ACA/ ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or part-qualified with relevant experience
  • Experience in using automated audit software and computer-based accounts and tax compilation programmes
  • Full clean driving licence with unrestricted access to a car (desirable but not essential)
  • Organised and able to plan your own time efficiently
